How To Nail The Ultimate Hens Party

Tasked with organising a hens party? We’ll show you how to throw the ultimate celebration for your budding bride to be!

Last month we hosted our very first Brides Who Brunch Wedding Showcase in conjunction with Northern Beaches Weddings & Events. We opened the doors to our gorgeous venue for all the bride and grooms to be to get a taste of what having a Beachside Dojo wedding is all about. But what we also did was transform our Private Dining Room into the ultimate hens celebration. Take note maid of honours! – this is how you should throw your bestie a night she’ll never forget!

The incredible team from Little Lane Events came in and styled our space to perfection. Take a look at all our favourite snaps and get inspired.

Let’s be honest, every celebration is all about making it as Instagramable as possible and signage is a sure fire way to achieve this and impress your guests!

Pick a location that is not only convenient to everyone but also nails your brief. You’ll have to spend less on styling etc if the basic foundations are already there like a killer ocean view!

Ensure you have an activity planned. Whether it be a cocktail making class or a flower crown workshop, it’s the best way for everyone to get to know each other before the real celebrations begin.

Personalisation is pretty standard when it come to celebrating a wedding, so the hens party should definitely follow suit. The simple act of including name cards on your table setting really lifts your overall look and feel.

Always ensure you have some food included in the festivities. It might be a delicious banquet lunch or dinner, or some share plates to get you started. Not only do we love food, but it will help soak up some of the alcohol to ensure you last the entire night!

And while styling is a personal choice, you might want to include a balloon garland in with your florals to make the room pop.
